I think your analysis is wrong as well. With the way the case was fast tracked to the supreme court, ...the way it was impressed upon the people that no appeal was going to be allowed, ...with the AG himself prosecuting,... with a fine by the judiciary of more than twice what the prosecution asked for even though they were not the party maligned... with only 5 days to go pay up,.... with the possibility that Mkini would be forced to fold up ... ..many of us just wage earners, students on scholarship, smalltime contractors... etc.. were fearful. So we collected a large amount of small sums to be donated for this cause so that we could not be identified. Many came back from work to find the account closed.

I suggest Mkini do not seek a judicial review and waste money and time. You may lose again and get punished more, including Steven. The views of the court of public opinion is paramount, let the judges live with their decision. Why irritate them some more. If at all, let the A@G seek a review. I know this is unusual, but the whole case is unusual. Someone providing a public service, but got clobbered because of a few third party anonymous commenters venting their frustration.

I suggest Mkini should leave the judgement as it is. Let the public judge, and the judiciary live with it. If at all, it is up to AG to seek a review. I know this is unusual, but the whole case is unusual too. No need to waste donations on this. As I said, Mkini should keep the funds for future cases related to sedition, freedom of speech etc.

EXCITING DEVELOPMENT. I believe ONE apex court judge decided to peruse the Judges' Code of Ethics (Code of Conduct) which explains her decision to, and reason for, dissent. It is fervently hoped that absent a statutory scheme for contempt of Court, the common law has not maliciously drifted away from common sense.

With all due respect to the six judges, the rakyat has spoken and hope you get the message . To the dissenting judge, may God bless you, Amen.
