Federal Court judge Zabariah Yusof will be serving as acting Court of Appeal president following the retirement of Abang Iskandar Abang Hashim on Wednesday.

According to Free Malaysia Today, acting chief justice Hasnah Hashim issued a letter stating the appointment was made under Section 9(3)(a) of the Courts of Judicature Act 1964.
