Ramasamy seeks help to raise RM1.52m to pay Zakir Naik pending appeal
P Ramasamy has launched a crowdfunding campaign to raise RM1.52 million after a civil court ruled in favour of Islamic preacher Dr Zakir Naik in his defamation suit against the former Penang deputy chief minister.
During a press conference in Kuala Lumpur, the former DAP leader this afternoon said he would be transparent with the funds gathered and that any excess amount would be used in ways to benefit the public.
Actually, you must be a letdown in real life. List all of Prof Rama's misdeeds, corruption, cheating and any scandals that you are extremely sure of. He couldn't get along with the DAP powerful people and resigned. A principled guy only can take things to a certain extent and when he finds himself unable to support the party he quits. He is not one with the lockstep thinking. As far as I know, he is a fighter for fairness.
