Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim’s administration has doubled down on its commitment to reform the country’s current broad-based subsidy framework.

Under the 12th Malaysia Plan mid-term review tabled by Anwar in the Dewan Rakyat this morning, the federal government will be introducing targeted subsidies.
