3R issues: Ministry engaging with social media providers, platforms - Fahmi

The Communications and Digital Ministry has been engaging with social media platform providers and operators to help them better understand the laws pertaining to royalty, religion and race (3R) issues.

Its minister Fahmi Fadzil said the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) had conducted engagement sessions with almost all social media platform operators including Telegram and Meta.
