The ban in France on donning a burqa is 2 prong - liberty for all is what the French preach, no religious elements of any persuasion in France. Also, aft the Paris bombing, male or female suicide bomb carriers can hide a few kg's of explosive to cause major damage - go on the web to see carnage that has happened, in India, Pakistan or amongst Taliban's factions.
