Malaysia reiterates stand not to recognise Tatmadaw regime

PARLIAMENT | The Foreign Affairs Ministry has reiterated Malaysia’s stand not to recognise the Myanmar armed forces, the Tatmadaw regime, and will work towards finding a comprehensive solution via the strengthening of the Asean Five Point Consensus (5PC).

Its minister, Zambry Abdul Kadir, said Malaysia and its Asean counterparts will continue to pressure the regime until a comprehensive solution can be achieved in Myanmar...
