Rafizi: People's Income Initiative aims to generate RM2k monthly for poor

The government has launched the People’s Income Initiative (IPR) today aimed at increasing the income of the hardcore poor and B40 group to at least RM2,000 a month.

Economy Minister Rafizi Ramli said the programme would leverage the public and private sectors as well as the community to spur economic growth at the grassroots level through a collaborative effort involving the government, people and strategic partners.
