Flood: Pasir Mas folk urged to be on alert after part of embankment breaks

      BernamaPublished: Dec 20, 2022 3:59 PM | Updated: Dec 20, 2022 4:48 PM

All residents around Pasir Mas and Tumpat need to be alert beginning tonight after part of the embankment involving the Sungai Golok Integrated River Basin Development (PLSB) project in Kampung Tersang in Pasir Mas broke due to strong current caused by floods.

Kelantan Drainage and Irrigation Department (DID) director Kamal Mustapha said that, as such, they are expecting the flood situation in the area to worsen.
