Kulasegaran: Where's the promised Socso protection for housewives?

The government has been urged to speed up the introduction of Social Security Organisation (Socso) coverage for housewives in order to provide protection and benefits for them.
Ipoh Barat MP M Kulasegaran said Human Resources Minister M Saravanan had said in 2021 that 3 million housewives would soon enjoy protection under Socso’s Housewife Social Safety Scheme, which was an initiative mooted during Pakatan Harapan’s administration.
