1MDB board misled on investment monies coming back - witness

The High Court today was told that 1MDB’s board of directors was misled when its management had given the illusion that 1MDB investment monies were coming back into the state fund in 2014.

Former 1MDB non-executive director Ismee Ismail (above), 58, said this when he was asked by lead defence counsel Muhammad Shafee Abdullah to comment on a briefing by 1MDB former chief financial officer (CFO) Azmi Tahir during a board meeting on Oct 20, 2014.
