COMMENT | Is Dian Lee another poor, little rich girl?
COMMENT | The revolving door between government and the private sector may benefit many cronies and almost invariably cause problems for their offspring.
This is why the pressure on Dian Lee, the central executive committee member of Muda, who joined the party on Dec 23, 2021, will intensify. Her actions will be heavily studied, and her words carefully weighed.
It would not have mattered one bit if Dian had been the daughter of Mr KY Lee, your neighbour who owns a small grocery store, whose wife is a part-time receptionist, and whose children are scattered throughout the world, because of the reality of being denied many opportunities in Malaysia.
The apparent vitriol towards Muda's Dian is only because...
Good questions indeed, not just to Dian, but to SS and MUDA too. So far, SS has nothing to show except to declare Tony as an unsung Malaysian hero and to have a cosy meal with ZN and tell us to move on. All we have had from them is lots of waffling about how they represent the youths of Malaysia without anything substantial on what they stand for, and what they plan to do if they get into Government. At the moment. what I suspect is they are nothing but a bunch of people set up by that old man to split the votes of the anti-establishment youths.Seems to be working as there is a lot of hype without anything of substance coming from this bunch and lots of people are buying their snake oil.
