Minister: Govt will offer Nur Sajat counselling if she returns

De facto Religious Affairs Minister Idris Ahmad has said the government will offer “counselling” to transperson Nur Sajat should she return to Malaysia.

Yesterday, she revealed she escaped to Australia due to a court case and because she felt unsafe due to her identity.

Idris addressed the matter when doorstepped by the media at a Maulidur Rasul event in Kuala Lumpur today.
