Labour recalibration now includes services subsectors - minister

The government has agreed to extend the Labour Recalibration Programme to employers in the services subsectors, according to Home Minister Hamzah Zainudin.

He said the subsectors involved were restaurants, cargo, wholesale, retail, cleaning, and washing.

He said the agreement was reached in a joint committee meeting chaired by himself and Human Resources Minister M Saravanan on the management of foreign workers in Putrajaya today.
