Dear WhitePanda9001, Malaysiakini subscriptions alone cannot sustain operations hence we sell some advertisement. However, all advertisements are clearly labelled as such, either as Branded Content or Advertorials. Malaysiakini's editorial team is not involved in these advertorials, and it does not affect our work in anyway. We appreciate your feedback and will be happy to discuss this further. - Andrew Ong, news editor andrew@malaysiakini.com
