Although i-Sinar has been expanded to make more Employees Provident Fund (EPF) contributors eligible to withdraw from their Account 1, there are still complaints about the programme.

Some have labelled i-Sinar as 'i-Sedih', 'i-Malap' and other nicknames due to what they deem as its strict requirements, including that the programme is only available to those who have had at least a 30 percent pay cut...
