Dear ManOnTheStreet, Thanks for taking the time to make those suggestions. We will look into it. On your third suggestion, the Health DG said on Sept 29 that Covid-19 death classification only take into account deaths caused by the virus and not comorbidity. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z_9-ytZSvtA Thank you. Dear ManOnTheStreet, Thank you for taking time to write to us. Reader comments often guide us in posing questions to the authorities. The granular testing data that you seek is not available to us. Dr Noor Hisham has been announcing testing numbers specifically for Sabah, but only if he holds a press conference. We do not believe that the MOH is trying to hide data from us. However, it takes time to collect the data. Our sole data entry person spends four hours a day doing so from the health department of every state/ territory. We at Malaysiakini shares the concerns of our readers over Covid-19. We are the only news organisation vigrously compiling areas affected by Covid-19 daily (https://malaysiakini.com/news/551553) and recording Covid cases according to mukim (locality)(see: https://newslab.malaysiakini.com/covid-19/en/state/selangor) to keep our readers informed. We apologise for any shortcomings and thank you for writing to us. If you would like to discuss this further, please send email to andrew@malaysiakini.com and provide me with your phone number. - Andrew Ong, news editor.
