River pollution: Agong expresses disappointment, decrees heavier penalties

Yang di-Pertuan Agong Sultan Abdullah Sultan Ahmad Shah today described the Sungai Gong water pollution incident which caused a major water disruption in the Klang Valley as an irresponsible action that harmed to the people.

While expressing his disappointment over the incident, His Majesty decreed that those involved in causing the pollution be taken to court and, if convicted, be punished with heavier penalties...
