Ex-Cameron Highlands MP wins appeal against EC over ban from contesting, voting

Former Cameron Highlands member of Parliament C Sivarraajh today won in his appeal to quash the decision of the Election Commission (EC) in disqualifying him from contesting or voting in election for five years beginning 2018.
A three-member Court of Appeal bench chaired by justice Kamaludin Md Said allowed Sivarraajh's (photo, above) judicial review and granted a certiorari order to quash the EC's decision.
