Territorial claims to be resolved through friendly consultations, says China embassy

How China took over islands from Vietnam and the Philippines? what peacefully resolved disputes? China maybe friendly last time but not for the past 10 years. A little bit of argument with any smaller countries, they will threaten and coerce with student and tourist ban, like what they are doing to Australia, or South Korea earlier.
