Harapan commits to earlier decision of Anwar as PM candidate

The Pakatan Harapan presidential council today decided to commit to its earlier decision that Anwar Ibrahim will be the coalition’s prime ministerial candidate.

However, the council said that Anwar now has the full mandate from the coalition to continue discussions with all parties to return the people's mandate to Harapan.

Even though I was angry with Mahatir resigning abruptly, but I still prefer him to helm for another 6 months. I really doubt of Anwar capability to wrest the power back from PN or to perform well if there is a snap election. The recent exodus of PKR members and his wishy washy attitude really cast doubts of his abilities. I being a Chinese am disappointed with dap for choosing this path. I and my friends will not make the extra effort to vote should there be an election. PH can be the opposition as long as Anwar wishes.
