Zahid instructed RM17m withdrawal to construct foundation building - witness

Former deputy prime minister Ahmad Zahid Hamidi had allegedly instructed the withdrawal of over RM17 million to be used for the construction of the Yayasan Akalbudi building, the Kuala Lumpur High Court heard today.

Prosecution witness Narimah Miswadi (above), who was the Affin Bank’s Jalan Bunus branch operating officer, today testified that Ahmad Zahid relayed the instruction to her during a meeting in 2016.
