Pua: Guan Eng 'reserves the right' to sue those who question his credentials
Finance Minister Lim Guan Eng reserves the right to initiate defamatory action against anyone questioning his credentials as an accountant, his political secretary Tony Pua said today.
In a press conference, the Damansara MP also pointed out that Lim, who is the DAP secretary-general, had completed and passed all the examinations necessary to obtain his degree and qualifications to be an accountant by 1983.
Pua was responding to MCA president Wee Ka Siong, who had recently questioned how Lim had become a qualified accountant, a year before obtaining a degree...
M4all.. you and your three supporters have made the classical error of assuming that criticism of Harapan equates to support for BN. There was no need for me to ask about 1MDB because Harapan politicians and supporters were asking. In fact they did little else but concentrate on 1MDB. As a graduate from an Australian university, I can attest for Tony Pua. Everything he said about the timing of academic year, exams, graduation and actual presentation of certs/degrees is all true. And a Economics degree from Monash University is more than good enough for LGE's qualification as far as I'm concerned. Uncle Wee Wee, what about Najib's Economics degree from University of Nottingham? Can you please ask him for the proof? Can you please ask Najib to furnish his degree certificate?
