Former prime minister Najib Abdul Razak was slapped with three additional charges under the Anti-Money Laundering and Anti-Terrorism Financing Act 2001 (Amlatfa) today.

Najib is accused of being involved in money laundering activities under Section 4(1)(a) of the act for allegedly receiving a total of RM47 million at AmIslamic Bank Bhd in Jalan Raja Chulan, Kuala Lumpur on July 8, 2014.

Why would Najib still command 30% of Malay support? Are Malays now inured to crimes committed, or do they still believe Najib could be innocent? Very telling.

Boring news! Ordinary citizens, one petty theft, already masuk jail! Najib so many charges, still walking free! So rubbish Rule-of-law Rabid-Racist-Style!! PH Mahathir, your credibility is  zero now!!

NO POINT ADDING HUNDREDS OF CHARGES AGAINST NAJIB AS HE IS NOW DE FACTO PRIME MINISTER. HE IS FREE TO GO AROUND AND MAKING POLITICAL SPEECHES SO CONFINDENTLY AS IF HE IS THE PRIME MINISTER. WHY IS IT SO LONG TO CHARGE HIM IN COURT FOR AT LEAST ONE OFFENCE OR IS MAHATIR AFRAID OF HIM AND HIS DEFENDING LAWYER SHAFEE ABDULLAH.

TT is lost in a sea of useless govt officers who are probably still on the lanoon's payroll. Like Al Capone...go for that one charge that will stick and send him to prison. Whats the point of raining a million charges but nothing sticks or is just getting the public agitated. Or is TT now working for the lanoon to take out Toon ??? Never put an academician in charge of a public post.

Why need so many charges to be added on and on before jailing him? Use one simple charge to lock him up in jail first. The rest can then take their time.

RM9.5m in questionable "back fees" notwithstanding, does hot shot even know exactly how much his client has embezzled or his role in the murder of Altantuya and Kevin Morais?

AG Dept... Is this a good example of Malaysian Government efficiency.. Chronically overstaffed and can't move forward..(Similar  issues like Police can't find kidnapped daughters or Pastors..) need to do the hard things, not just the inconsequential things...

It's time to let the rule if law run its course on Najib. New Malaysia doesn't need a new record in the Guinness Book of Records of 300+ Charges against Najib..just get him off the street now and let him face anything new that comes up from jail. The Malaysian legal system is the slowest in the world... If PH don't sort it out it will be GE16 before he gets a date in court. Justice has to be seen to be done or else there is no Justice.

Macc began so well after May 9, giving us hope that it will be an independent body. But so obvious that it is responding to the dog whistle of Madey. Everytime Najib does something that Madey does not like, Macc will pull put out another charge on Najib. Very disappointing that the bad old days of Mahafiruan has returned.

Life is funny this way. A celebrity chef says slap, some people say cannot say like that and forced him to apologise. But, when an online news portal says slap with criminal charges, it is ok. If the celebrity chef has earlier said slap with his frying pan, then I think should be ok, right ?

B ring the Ornge T shirt, only then this son of Razak will feel the heat! Why is Prosecution so unsure as to how to frame the charges? This is very common in many criminal cases where the DPP is so unsure of what and how to frame the charges! Malu Lah!

Lucky Boss_Ku.....CareFree while  happily wearing T Shirt  " Malu Apa Boss_Ku "  . It's true , No need to be ashamed . After all  till now , Only Charges - Nothing happened . Even No Need to wear that Classic Orange MACC T Shirt  +  No Need to be in the Court Dock .  For the Olang Kampongs especially   including  K. Gibran (?)   , NR is still Boss_Ku . NR is getting popular again , his rating surging - thanks to  VIP treatment from PH govt.

Put Najib and the gang in jail, that's what matters, not the number of charges. People are running out of patience. Conclude the prosecution quickly.

The recent Cameron Highlands by-elections brought to light two seemingly diametrically unrelated facts.  The first was that many of the Orang Asli and some of the Malays were not even aware that Najib Razak.was no longer the prime minister.  This perception may have been drawn from the fact  Najib was in full attendance at the campaign rallies, strutting about smugly as though he was cock of the walk.  The second point is that at none of the many charges against him was he made to appear in the standard PRDM or MACC garb.  This is not a matter of victimization when one considers that every person taken to court was in purple or orange, the only exceptions were Najib, Rosmah Mansor, and Zahid Hamidi.  There should have been no special treatment for them, after all, everyone is supposed to be equal before the law.  Had Najib been compelled to be dressed in orange, the Orang Asli may have realized that the emperor was indeed naked.
