Yes we have to replace those non performing ministers.

Don ever forget before GE14 msia was at the verge of trickling down to zimbabwe and venezuela. The country has been deliberately brought to a state of no return, I am sure it is too obvious for all citizens to see. Therefore, before the GE 14 I would like to take this opportunity to address the sole person and or the most crucial person responsible for the future of the country. With due respect, dear Mahathir, before you breathe your last, I would like to thank you for developing the country for the past 22 years during your reign (albeit not as great as our neighbor Singapore), at the same time, you have been solely and or instrumentally causing the unchecked power in the ruling government that is now causing the descend of our beloved country into another Venezuela and or Zimbabwe. Wise people would know what to do, ditching the titanic before it is too late. Mahathir in his 22 yrs reign has transformed the country into a totalitarian state without check and balance, any opposition would first has to face intimidation by police forces that serve the master and not rakyat. 50years ago, we were the rising star, the Asian Tigers. 50years later we are at best, the Asian Cretin. Stunted in growth waiting for foreigners to lend us money

Harapan is at a dangerous cross-road. Results like Highlands seen from a superficial lens can easily stir a knee-jerk reaction to go all out to out-Malay and out-Islam UMNO and PAS, especially if Semenyih has a larger Malay demographics than Highlands. And we know how hungry Bersatu is for more power and influence. I would however urge restraint. Harapan should make a decision not to go down the path of far right. It must start undertaking reforms and ensure that it KEEPS its vote bank that includes the 1/3 Malays who voted for it, and to inspire the other non-Malay groups. A silver lining can already be seen that despite UMNO/PAS combo to dominate Malay votes, DAP (of all parties) have managed to chip away their vote bank when it comes to Orang Asli. OAs may be a small amount, but in the game of exacting political calculus, this can bode well by the time of GE15 where outstation voters will flock back, giving majority to Harapan. Dealing with Malay sentiments require an even hand and temperament. Harapan needs to demonstrate it is fair to all yet at the same time the Malays are better off than before because development is more evenly spread out and therefore evenly felt. Malaysians and especially Harapan component parties should watch closely Semenyih by-election campaign. It Bersatu can pull off a win without resorting to overt racial/religious pandering, it would signal a significant political shift of the Malay society. Bersatu should also capitalise on what BN claimed on Highlands win - that they did not use race/religion - let's see if they have such contraint going into Semenyih, otherwise we know they are fake, and Bersatu can rip them apart on that ground. If BN/PAS exercise restraint, that would be a new shift of national politics. One thing for sure, Harapan does not know how to campaign as the government yet. Manogaran and the PKR senator's snafus are just some examples.  It should learn fast.

The solution seems to be simple. Just implement all that you said in your GE14 election manifesto without any further delay. Acts you promised to abolish must be abolished, no buts. No political appointees to head GLCs means no politicians or their close family members to run GLCs, full stop. No flimsy excuses like it takes time to look for the correct talent. You don't know/heard of prominent Malaysians who excel in their fields of expertise? What a shame?

I have to wonder whether Bersih went overboard in its zeal to ensure a "clean" byelection. It takes an extremely strict interpretation of "incentives" under the Electoral Law which extended to banning any promises of development funds tied to the candidate winning. But if so, every promise in PH's Manifesto before GE14 can be considered to be the offering of illegal incentives. Even Western nations do not define democracy in such puritanical terms. It is common for Western governments to reduce tax in an election year and promise other goodies if they retain power. Is that illegal?  What else is democracy about other than attracting voters using incentives whether financial, social, quality of life or ideology? I do not know what sort of democracy that Bersih aspires to, but it appears to be a form that is not known on Earth.

Yes Muhyddin, much lessons are to be learnt from the Cameron defeat,we agree. But are you facing these lessons sincerely and truthfully ?   By saying about rising costs, and development problems are only repeating the cliches politicians in previous UMNO and now Bersatu   can do.  This is not the underlying cause or reason that the people as a whole are not happy with PH now. People are not happy of: 1. PH has not been able to keep their promises to Change when certain changes are very easy to do , for example repeal of ISA., the UEC, etc 2. Change in policies that don't cost  money except the political will to change. We still see and hear Tun sing  the same  tunes that the Malays are poor and need help, the Malays are lazy, that the Tongkat syndrome must  continue, must distribute wealth. All these ,together with the implementation of the NEP for the last 60 years have shown failure to improve the Malays generally except great improvement of wealth to certain connected group of  Malays, Such elitist policies are not working of course. Distribution of wealth and accumulation of wealth, legally or illegally(corruption), has been very successful to certain Malay groups only . 3. No significant change in the structural aspects of Education. Same failed system  is followed, more politicised, and utterly a lost cause. 4. The dreadful race and religion is still the basis in all  policy making .The need basis is all talk only, The bumi status and the Malay delima still springs eternal. No new Malaysian template is in sight at all. All such policies don't need billions in costs to decide to change . We are still moving forward in the old UMNO ways but only under a new brand. Like old wine in new bottles. The bumi -non bumi dichotomy , the "bastardised" NEP has not helped the Malays after so long of implementation under UMNO, In short the people has changed the Govt. and expected to see "Change" in the New Malaysia. They see nothing. So Cameron  indeed is a lesson

What EXACTLY have you learned? That playing up racial sentiments to the Malay electorate like what UMNO PAS shamelessly did in Cameron wins elections? If PH won future elections using such disgusting & low-down tactics, PH should disband and each party go their own way. Communal politics has no place in a society that wants progress. Wars are won when soldiers stay their course, even after losing a battle or two. Let UMNO & PAS carry on with their self-destructive strategy of playing the race/religion card. They won't get very far and it has already been proven on 9/5/18. PH govt should relook its earlier pledges; those pledges effectively catapulted it to power. Recall what was promised to the people. Faithfully fulfil your promises, at least most if not all of them. You should be aware that you have strayed away from the original plan and you will be held to account for all your actions in GE15. If you want to win future elections, you must fulfil your pledges and make people believe in PH once more.

I am sad. I hope good comes out of this and at Semeyih you will reach out to all Malaysians and not to selected groups . It was so obvious in Camerons. We are far from change.

I hope this is a sobering moment for PH. Get your act together and stay focused of what's in front of you. 1. Fix Malaysia 2. Keep your promises as in the Manifesto 3. Don't abuse and mismanage the country 4. Expedite justice on those who stole from us.
