I'm aghast at this news. Anybody remotely involved in 1MDB should be on a Watch List and even more so those who are in direct link to this crime of the century. How did the parents and close business associates vanish in thin air once the wheels of justice were in motion? Are we being internally sabotaged?

If they are still in Malaysia, then there is no reason and excuse for the Police not being able to find them. If they are hiding overseas, then the Immigration should have some records of their departures. Also check with all the travel agencies and airlines for records of their travels.

This is not good enough. It should have been done months ago. And their ill gotten assets are still theirs. The very weak efforts thus far by the Malaysian New government to do the necessary has led to two eye popping but sad outcome thus far - the Nomura recent report which include remarks on structural reforms (no kiddin'!) and nenek Rahana of Cameron Highland remarks to our dear Manogaran.
