The lack of petroleum royalty flowing into Kelantan from Putrajaya is among the reasons the state government has to resort to logging, Mohd Amar Nik Abdullah said today.

The Kelantan deputy menteri besar said the federal government should therefore hasten its petroleum royalty payouts if it "really cared about the plight of the Orang Asli" in the state.

"The federal government is supposed to make prompt royalty payments...

PAS do not know how to manage a state, that's all........They are more concern about sexy girl posters, beer posters etc etc.......But they have the highest rate of HiV cases, because Sg Golok is just on the other side, they just can do whatever they like in Sg Golok, nobody can control.

Dear Kelantan government, besides petrol and logging you do not have any other economic programs to generate income for the state. Both are natural resources. How about creating a conducive atmosphere so that factories and other forms of economic activities can take place so that the hardworking Kelantanese do not have to cari makan in other parts of the country? Do not be so focused about implementing the Islamic laws to cane and shame that is driving away a lot of hardworking Kelantanese. I worked in Kelantan for 5 years. They are wonderful and great people. Your policies are sending them to northern Thailand and to other parts of Malaysia.

This is the problem when you have leaders who have absolutely no idea how to live in the real world. In the real world, you need to work to earn money. You need to create an environment where the people can generate wealth. You cannot always be dependent on freebies. What happens if the oil runs out and the trees are all gone? You expect your citizens to eat grass? Try to live on Earth with fellow humans first before you think about Heaven.

That is typical PAS. Justify  wrong by conditions. The uneducated bunch should be thrown in jail and forever stopped for ever winning any constituency.

I was shocked a deputy MB said this. Basically he is impying that PAS will sacrifice greenery due to lack of petroleum royalty flowing into Kelantan, which mean they rather let the future generation choke with green house gases due to logging & deforestation for money.

Pas given almost 30 years of uninterrupted power to rule Kelantan and yet it is behaving like a beggar to ask for financial aid from the federal government. What about the past 30years,how much fund has been channelled to the state by the previous government? Just look at Penang without resources has been turned into a vibrant and progressive and developed state by LGE and DAP in a matter of 10 years. The sterling performance by DAP in governance, party organisation, multi racial political structure, supported by a large team of young dynamic high calibre visionary leaders across the whole nation has drawn jealousy ,red eyes from the useless corrupted racist scumno and pus. Out of feeling inferior and less capable, the leaders of these two good for nothing parties have unashamedly and repeatedly made false, baseless  and slanderous allegations against DAP including anti Malays and anti Islam remarks. In spite of having been warned and sued for their inexcusable action of making such accusations, lies and falsehood against DAP, scumno and pus do not seem to change. Probably they are waiting to be totally ignored by the people of new Malaysia and this behaving like sinking ships.

I hope Putrajaya show us the taxes derived by states. I do believe all of us have a moral responsibility to help our poorer brothers and sisters. The richer people among the poor state keep voting in, incapable useless dumbo people to manage their states. We can forgive the poorer, ignorant, illiterate, unaware of the state people, but when the more aware of the lot, do not help their fellow kind, how??? This state gomen keeps asking for money, to even pay civil servants' salaries. We, while we continue morally to use our tax money across board, we would like to know how and where the tax money comes in and how it is distributed per state.

I cannot help but reiterate that the Kelantanese and Terengganu born, earning very decent, if not lavish , incomes in the west coast states of Selangor and Penang, went back to their home states, to vote ((on 09/05/2018)) in these cavemen to rule their states?? Why not these people, go back to their states then? The East Coast people who formerly held high posts in the government and GLCs and other sectors and who have since retired to plush pensions and multiple passive incomes are equally responsible for having these cavemen ill-manage their states. While they are comfortable, their fellow poor Kelantanese and Orang Asal are hard pressed to raise their standard of living. Is that sustainable?

Is Kelantan now resorting to blackmail? Shouldn't the welfare of the orang asli be the priority of the state and certainly from a party who wears religion on its sleeve but practice non of the virtues of real spiritually enlightened religious men?

This is equivalent to telling the government I will stop robbing banks if you give me free money. What a incapable State government? The irony is PAS has 29 years of uninterrupted rule in Kelantan state & they don't have a workable economic plan for the state. Malays will be doomed if they can allow such political leaders to lead them.

Going by PAS logic, PAS is saying those states with no petroleum, are morally and legally and?? religiously right to snatch lands off the Orang Asal. This, to hide their very very very poor incompetence in managing their state???

hplooi24/Jan/2019 at 1:41:57 Am. Well said. Thank you hplooiThis "admission" by the Kelate State gomen (viz; logging) is troubling by itself. (1) Land grabbing is wrong by itself whatever the reasons proffered. (2) Revenue from indiscriminate forest logging DO NOT generally benefit the general populace, ONLY a small class of timber-barons. (3) The worst is the lasting damage to the environment from indiscriminate and uncontrolled logging of which the Kelate State gomen is grievously guilty. IF revenue from timber has not benefited the State in general HOW will oil revenue benefit the general populace? More madrassahs? Higher budget for the moral police and research on arcane and esoteric knowledge in Islamic scholarship? In the meantime, highest incidence of sexual disease, substance abuse (not alcohol), childcare neglect and low job creation continue... how will increase oil revenue mitigate these perennial problems of the Kelate-Caliphate; where you cannot find knowledge workers for industry-4 neither can you find skill based industry. Perhaps Kelate gomen can start a fund to send more Kelantanese to work in Singapore?

'.....pay Kelantan RM700m oil royalty. 'Maybe' we can stop logging and will not disturb the Orang Asli and the land! This is PAS Taliban's talk.

How could this bloke be a capable MB of the State. When the flood came he was happily mounting his horses at home and the flood victims have to fend for themselves.... even DAP the ‘anti Muslim’ political party was on the ground to help their Muslim brothers. Once again, orang Muslim does not lie!
