Alleged tampering of 1MDB audit report serious if true, says Khairy

The alleged tampering of the National Audit Department's report on 1MDB is a very serious issue and "frustrating" if true, Umno MP Khairy Jamaluddin said today.

The former Umno Youth chief said such an incident should not have happened as the auditor-general (Madinah Mohamad) should be free from any interference in making the report.

However, Khairy added that the matter should be left to the authorities who have begun their investigation...
